The Sugar Dolls story
The Sugar Dolls brand was founded by Cassie Goodger in 2006. Originally a dancer, Cassie began working for promotions agencies simply to pay for dance classes, but she soon discovered a real passion for the experiential marketing industry. Cassie explains:
“I worked in promotions as a shot girl, a hostess and an entertainer and I saw first-hand the impact good promotions staff have. I knew there was a gap in the market for a professional, branded, entertainment and promotions agency that delivered real solutions to clients – it became my ambition to create just that.”
And it’s not just about the clients. With twelve years’ experience, Cassie also understands how doing this type of work boosts the confidence of the people she employs: “I wanted to build a company that created confident men and women so I make sure there’s a strong focus on sales training. Learning how to sell products and promote brands gives sales and promotions staff the confidence they need to go on and achieve their own personal dreams; it’s something I feel passionate about.”
From promotions staff to merchandise
Thanks to Cassie’s commitment to delivering results and her sheer hard work (she can often be found still working at three in the morning!), Sugar Dolls has now become a well-known brand in the promotions staff and experiential marketing industry. Such is its strength that Sugar Dolls is now launching its first clothing range as well as a host of official merchandise including shot glasses, holsters, mugs, pens and calendars.
For its clients, Sugar Dolls offers unique events staffing solutions that deliver real results but for Cassie, it’s the realisation of a dream. She says:
“No matter what the role, whether we’re providing entertainers, promotions staff or shot girls and guys, I know we’re providing a brand experience that will stay with the customer for a long time to come. It’s what makes us unique.”
